Spring Ideas

These beautiful candies got me inspired about decorating Easter eggs. I want to try painting quail eggs (or chicken eggs would work fine too) with nail polish. I think the nail polish would make vibrant colors, that aren't necessarily typical of Easter eggs. If I don't get around to doing this, and someone else does, please send me a picture so that I can post it on the blog Eggs

I think you'd need to blow the eggs out and then stick something through the holes that were left so you'd have something to hold onto as you were painting.

Hi:

I think you are right and had never thought of that. As you can see I have yet to try this project, but still want to. Thanks so much for your advice. Cathryn...

Hi, I just wanted to let everyone know about a great site: www.designermemory.com. I just gave a party last week for 20 people. I wanted an intimate dinner party with elegant touches, buffet style. After searching many sites I found Designer Memory Products. They had a great selection of party supplies with great pricing. I found just the right party accessories for my guests. I started with placemats on each of the tables for every guest. The placemats were laminated and I personalized them with some of my designs and text unique for my guests. Next, I decided to add elegance with place cards. These were great and even though I only had 20 people, it seemed just right to show everyone where to sit. I was able to use my color scheme of rose and pale yellow in both the placemats and place cards. It was great working with the people at Designer Memory Products, the staff called me after I placed my order and gave me a personal touch, real customer service. They helped me organize my designs, and work with my color scheme and suggested ways to achieve just what I was looking for. Check out www.designermemory.com and the people at Designer Memory Products.
